FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: How big are your rosaries?
A: Most Figured & Co. rosaries use "standard" 6mm sized beads. 6mm refers to the size of the "Ave" or "Hail Mary" beads in the rosary. This is the most common size for portable rosaries designed to be carried in a purse or pocket. The vast majority of our bronze and sterling silver rosaries are "standard" size.
Q: I love the rosary beads, but not the crucifix or center medal. Can I substitute them for a different crucifix or center medal?
A: Absolutely! If the style of the crucifix or center medal is holding you back from purchasing a rosary, please don't hesitate to contact me to request an alteration. Simply identify another rosary in my inventory with the style that you prefer. Please be aware that if the style you have selected is not currently in stock, I can order it for you, but it may take 1-2 weeks before your customized rosary is ready to ship.
Q: Do the metals in your rosaries develop a patina?
A: We use genuine, untreated metals to construct our rosaries. Most metal, including bronze and sterling silver will develop a patina. The process occurs more quickly with bronze, whereas sterling silver develops its patina very slowly in most environments. In order to keep your rosaries looking great, we recommend keeping the rosary in a cool, dry environment away from moisture. Rosaries purchased from Figured & Co. may have already begun to develop patina by the time you receive your rosary depending on how long it has been sitting in inventory. The crucifix or center medal may be restored by gently rubbing them with fine, steel wool. I do not recommend using chemical cleaners or polishes which may damage the metal or the beads.
Q: Do you make custom rosaries?
A: Sorry, due to my schedule, I am no longer able to take most custom requests.
Q: I have a question that has not been answered on this page.
A: Please, feel free to contact me with any additional questions that you may have.
